Title |
Probing the regulatory networks by computational models
|
Abstract |
With rapid advances of various high-throughput experimental techniques, more and more biological data are increasingly available. It is now possible to quantitatively study regulatory interactions in a systematic way and there is also a pressing need for the development of sophisticated algorithms for reconstructing gene networks.
Generally speaking, there are three kinds of regulatory relationships among the regulators (transcriptional factors, TF) and target genes, i.e. the
relationships between target genes, the relationships between TFs, and the relationships between TF and target genes.
To identify these three relationships, we proposed several computational models to reveal regulatory mechanisms. In this talk I will present our recent efforts and results.
