More and more research has recently been conducted on motifs, sequence patterns that have particular functions. Nonetheless, there are few systems that allow the effective application of motif data. BIORESEARCH/PR is designed for retrieving from among sequence data files the motifs corresponding to the specified motifs resistered in PROSITE, a public domain database of motifs. It also allows the researcher to resister new motifs patterns of motifs and search with the new motifs as queries.
