Genome Informatics News reports the activities of the Japanese Genome Informatics Project under the Monbusho (Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture) Human Genome Program. It is also intended to inform updates of the GenomeNet Database service operated by the Human Genome Center of the University of Tokyo, and the Supercomputer Laboratory, Institute for Chemical Research, Kyoto University.
